Harford County Disc Golf

Even after a week postponement because of Hurricane Irene, the 2011 Scarboro Scorcher was another sellout. Irene did a number on the course, but from lots of help from all the great people that call Scarboro home, the Hills were looking great by tee time. Big thanks to all those that helped put this together. Scorpio Disc Golf did a spectacular job with the Am merchandise payouts. Also like to thank all our great sponsors listed below for providing a plethora of great prizes and food to give away. Oh, and anyone that bought a sponsorship disc, we were able to add $370 to the payouts this year. $250 of it going towards the Pros.

Congratulations to all the winners, Tom Kim, Becky Sonnhiem, Waymon Peet, Rob Graf, Corey Stahl, Tammy Manatt, Sean Van Brunt, and Hunter Diaz. After round 1, Tom Kim was in 8th place, 4 strokes behind the leader. He came back in round 2 to shoot a record breaking round from the red tees, a 45, to tie Jimi McIlvain. After the playoff concluded, Tom came out victorious. Up and comer, Waymon Peet took the Advanced division, shooting lights out golf both rounds to win by 6 strokes (also tying Tom and Jimi in Open).
